At Hidden Forest Elephant Reserve, our elephants are free to roam and forage all day but as elephants eat 10% of their body weight (minimum 200 kgs per day) we must also bring large quantities of supplementary food such as grasses, sugarcane, fruits, and pineapple grass to the land to keep our elephants healthy and strong.
